Be not Anxious

What are you going through now Brothers & Sisters? Joy, sorrow, suffering, broken heartedness, etc? This life is not always bitter; sometimes there will be some sweetness. You will not always get the black color; at times you will get the blue, white or red.

How do we handle every situation? Remember, our response represents the brush of our mind which determines our attitude to that problem. What color do we use in facing life's trials? Black means hatred, and blue which means hope.

In reality, this life is full of happiness. The best happiness comes from God and is already close to us, but we often do not realize it. And example would be the fish which always look for water when it is actually already in the water. Such is also human being.

Be not anxious brothers and sisters! Even King Solomon in his splendor was not dressed as beautiful as the lilies of valley. So what are we afraid of? Live in HIS HOPE, and God will respond to our situation...

How to start a new blog?

If you want to start a news blog but don't know where to start, here is a general guide about how to start a news blog.

Instructions

1. Decide whether you want to pay to have your blog hosted, or if you want to create it the free way. Each has their advantages and disadvantages, but I won't go into them here. You can create your blog using a free service like blogger.com, typepad.com, or wordpress.com. Of the free services that let you create a free blog, I recommend blogger.com. If you want to host a blog you'll need to find a hosting service that you like and buy a hosting plan and a domain name. If you don't know anything about hosting, try to find a web host that is blog specific or one that makes it easy for someone to set up a blog.

2. Decide what news you will cover. Are you going to be a general news blog? Are you going to blog about whatever appeals to you? Or, are you going to focus on only a specific news subject? There are many things to consider. If this blog is being run by just you, I recommend focusing on a specific news topic. You will be competing with the big boys if you cover everything.

3. Set up your blog. This may take some time, especially if you are new at it. Decide on a color scheme, a template, and any graphics you want to use on your news blog.

4. Start writing on your news blog. Determine a posting schedule and stick to it. If you want to post daily, do so. Or you can just keep updating your blog when you have something worthwhile to write about. Make quality posts that catch attention and keep on writing!

5. Monetize your blog. There are many ways you can make money from your blog. You can place advertisements such as Adsense ads that pay you each time someone clicks on them, place links to affiliate products/programs that pay you a commission when you bring them a sale, or you can sell advertising space. You can even do all three if you wanted.

Here is the Video about it:

Forgiveness

"I don't know if I continue, even today, always liking myself. But what I learned to do many years ago was to forgive myself. It is very important for every human being to forgive herself or himself because if you live, you will make mistakes- it is inevitable. But once you do and you see the mistake, then you forgive yourself and say, 'well, if I'd known better I'd have done better,' that's all. So you say to people who you think you may have injured, 'I'm sorry,' and then you say to yourself, 'I'm sorry.' If we all hold on to the mistake, we can't see our own glory in the mirror because we have the mistake between our faces and the mirror; we can't see what we're capable of being. You can ask forgiveness of others, but in the end the real forgiveness is in one's own self. I think that young men and women are so caught by the way they see themselves. Now mind you. When a larger society sees them as unattractive, as threats, as too black or too white or too poor or too fat or too thin or too sexual or too asexual, that's rough. But you can overcome that. The real difficulty is to overcome how you think about yourself. If we don't have that we never grow, we never learn, and sure as hell we should never teach."

Putting Yourself on a Time Out

Do you have a naughty chair or mat somewhere in your house for your children? Or someplace they have to go to "think" about what they have done? How about for yourself?

Even though I live alone, I have found that I need a designated place in my house where I can go take a "time out" on a regular basis to recharge, relax, focus, and reconnect with myself. You'd think that living alone that part would be easy, but I have just as much going on in my head about things that need to be done and conversations I wish I'd had as a working mom with four kids might have. The issue isn't whether you have more stress than me, the issue is, are you helping yourself or hurting yourself by relentlessly maintaining a harried and hectic pace?

Dr. Daniel G. Amen is a brain function researcher in California. His work proves that the brain is the center of it all - a fit body, good health, strong families, satisfying relationships, and financial success. But we don't take care of our brains - we put ourselves last on the list. And we do so at great unseen risk to ourselves and our health.

The need for us to take a time out isn't limited to once a day, or once a week, and it isn't completely satisfied by "girls' night out."

Think about incorporating time outs for yourself in different ways and on a variety of levels. First, you really need to incorporate short time outs throughout the day at home and at work. We can't race around all day and expect to catch up with ourselves later in a healthy way.

A recent study commissioned by the Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance company found that the impact of sitting at a high-stress desk job all day resulted in a 40% increase in the risk of heart disease. People who have high stress and low control over their lives are essentially a ticking time bomb. So, if you are in an office all day, think of how to take mini-breaks that will refresh your brain.

If you are a stay-at-home mom and have a frantic schedule shuttling kids everywhere and getting all the housework done, think about how you can incorporate little deep-breathing breaks throughout your day. You're most likely not getting enough sleep so you have to turn down the volume and take in some deep breaths to help your body and brain survive that depletion.

You also need to start your day the right way - take a few moments before you even get out of bed to breathe deeply, feel your heart beating, think about the day ahead and focus on only one major task that MUST be done today. And this is also a good time to give thanks - you've got a fresh new day to make a difference in your life and in someone else's life. Starting the day with gratitude will have a profound effect on your mental and emotional health.

Now, in addition to the multiple mini-breaks you build into your day, you also need to take some longer periods of time. You need a place in your home that is for you only - and you need to use it several times a week (at the very least, once a week) to center yourself and ask yourself tough questions. Limit the distractions - no phone, no TV, no Internet. I suggest your journal - write down all the things you are grateful for, the things in your life you love, the things you want to work on and then ask yourself hard questions about whether you have any blockages that will prevent those life changes from happening. Your answers will come to you as you just sit and allow them. If you have trouble with this, get a guided discovery journal to help you. But be clear with yourself and your family - this is YOUR time. Schedule it, honor it, use it.

And you need to work in social time outs. Plan evenings out with just your spouse. The kids will survive with a babysitter. Plan evenings out with girlfriends who make you feel good about yourself and will do more than complain about their husbands or gossip about people you know. If you don't have those kinds of friends, spend some time reflecting on that!

Then there is the BIG one — soul searching retreats. Do you have at least one time a year built into your calendar where you can leave daily life behind completely and focus on the big picture? If you've never done that, start researching some options. They don't have to be expensive, they don't even have to be far away. But the opportunity to remove yourself from your environment and explore yourself in a new place is such a gift to yourself and your family. Make it happen!

The key to any time out is that it must be about YOU. Does that sound selfish? Well, go back to the age-old example of the oxygen masks on airplanes. You put yours on first and then help your children. Believe that you deserve this time and know that it will make you a better person, a better spouse, a better mother, a better friend.

In her book Simple Abundance, Sarah Ban Breathnacht talks about restoring a sense of rhythm to your life. Since she wrote that book, the Internet has exploded, cell phones are in everyone's hands and are mobile computers. People text rather than talk and get belligerent if you don't respond immediately. Adopt an attitude that the phone and the computer are there for your convenience, not so that everyone else can find you at their convenience. Unplug and recharge for a better body, a better mind and a better life - restore a rhythm to your soul with your time outs

9 Tips on How to Study More Effectively

Cramming for an exam or quiz will do more harm than allow you to retain important information you need in your head. Here are some ideas that will at least, make it easier for you to study more effectively.

1. Plan what to study. Check all subjects or topics that you need to study and rank them according to which ones you have most difficulty with. The more difficult topics, the more time you should allot to them. The more complex the subject, longer period of time must be given.

2. Set a scheduled time of the weekday or weekends when you should start. Say, not right after a meal of course, because by that time you would feel sluggish as you feel your stomach jam-packed. Perhaps half an hour to an hour after any meal would be fine. And once you have made up your mind, always stick to your schedule.

3. Have a good, comfortable place set for your study time. Your own room would be nice, however, distractions are a complete no-no - MP3, turned-on TV, your laptop, or perhaps your mobile phone and other gadgets at hand. Although some people need soft music to retain information in their heads, basically 'clear' your place of clutter that will add up to the possible interruption in your study time, and have all notes, books, calculator and other materials all set.

4. Give some short breaks for your brain to breathe. A 10-minute break after an hour or so of reading and filling your head with information would be good, so as not to make you 'too bored' or 'too tired of thinking'.

5. Have some goodies, snacks or candies at hand. You can munch once in a while to break the monotony of reading your notes or writing. It will give you some energy too.

6. Inform your family beforehand of your study time so they won't be calling you out every now and then for something they need to ask you about. And also, if you have younger siblings, they would be warned ahead to respect your time.

7. Proper diet is important and always plays an important role in developing efficient study habits. Foods that are rich in Omega 3 and Vitamin E, fish like tuna, green leafy vegetables and peanuts help your brain function more fully.

8. Make sure you get enough sleep when it's time to. Retention of facts will be more difficult for your brain if you are stressed-out by sleeping too late and the next day you are too sleepy to even remember what you tried to store in your head.

9. Know your learning style. If you can remember more of what you have read and studied by talking it out loud then by all means, do it every time you study. If acronyms and made-up stories about your topics benefit your memory well, then it would be to your advantage. Don't hinder yourself from something that you know works best for your studies.

These are just a few of the things you can do to help improve your study habits and taking these in mind can truly help you one way or another to do good with your studies.

Your 2 Wings To Fly

Just like a bird, you need 2 wings to fly.

The people who complain that they don't have enough money in their life is like a bird with a broken wing but not seeking any treatment to heal it.

One wing is the wing of action and another one is the wing of mindset.

The thing is this- both of these wings can be fixed if the desire to 'fly' is strong enough.

One person who has the right mindset but not taking any action complains he's poor but in reality, he doesn't do much to be wealthy. Yeah, you could know how to be rich or do some new age manifestation but nothing's going to come up if you don't do anything, PHYSICALLY.

The other person keeps on doing things to make money and yet he is poor. Well, it's because he still hasn't figured out that it's the mindset that 'attracts' the money. Besides, you also need to have knowledge to become rich, not just slave away like a dog. That's mindset.

The difference between a bird and a person is a bird is born to fly. If it falls down, it'll do it's best to fly again. There's no second option - the wing must be healed to fly again.

Well, a person is slightly different. He can still live even if he is not rich. Maybe because of that, he doesn't have that same determination as a bird to fly.

But then again, you must remember that a Person is "born" to be rich too because he's born with the equal benefits with everyone else - two hands, two legs, a brain, two eyes and so on. It's just because he can think of options, he decided to change his life.

How much do you want to "fly"?

A bit?

You're not gonna do anything to fix your wing any time soon.

The problem is not the economy; your boss, where you live and whatever crappy reasons available out there.

The problem is your WING.

Figure out which wing is broken so you can get it fixed as soon as possible.

The tricky part is, most people ignore the fact that the mindset to be wealthy can be compromised. Your brain uses 20% of energy from your entire body. Did you know that? That's 1/5 of EVERYTHING you got there.

The first step is to locate the 'blind spot'. It's called the 'blind spot' because you can't see it but it's there - everyone else sees it. Get yourself educated about success and money first before you attempt to be rich.

The blind spot is like 'internal bleeding'. You see, a lot of people are 'bleeding' today, but they don't know it. It's called, "emotional bleeding".

Once you fixed your 'blind spot' problem, you'll fix your mindset. The mindset game is very important because it allows you to have the skill to 'see' opportunities that can make money for you. Opportunities are everywhere. Seriously, even as you read this right now.

You might say, "Come on...how can this be true?"

Then you haven't fixed your mindset wing yet. Even if there's none, the person with the right mindset will say yes and create that opportunity. That's what makes the Rich different from the Poor - the Poor will give up and come up with an excuse to avoid work while the Rich will deny the lack of opportunity in his situation and create his own path.

To see opportunity, it starts by seeing positive things in the circumstances you are in.

Secrets of Success

Deep within you is the voice of your eternal Self saying, "Remember me? I am the source of all you need." This single statement summarizes the "self help" volume that is Secrets of Success. Sandra Taylor and Sharon Klingler lay bare a truth so many find hard to accept: human beings are spirit experiencing a physical journey. The ultimate discovery is realizing the link between spirit and flesh-and-blood reality is thought: to change your life - change your thinking.

Secrets to Success, The Science and Spirit of Real Prosperity is organized into three sections, each focused on revealing different aspects of the one true secret of success: experiencing joy in everyday life is the source of real prosperity.

In Part I: Life, Law, Force and Future, Sandra stresses that through consciousness human beings manifest the reality they experience. Each person possesses both the ability and option to change everything. Intentions, and the energetic vibrations they empower, cause the universe to respond. Thought is the source and the solution of every circumstance. This entire brick and mortar reality is in truth a field of energy in constant flux. Unfortunately most people never realize they influence the flow. Most just allow themselves to be swept up in the current and never fulfill the promise and potential of life's limitless opportunity.

Aristotle proclaimed, "The energy of mind is the essence of life." To control the essence of life - master mind. To create joyful experiences become aware of forces at work that undermine intention. Act in the present moment. Come to recognize fearful, worrisome or toxic thoughts and consciously choose to replace negative influences with self-affirming, prosperous, productive intentions.

Changing the world "out there" begins by changing the world "in here". Emotional energy is a transformative tool. All the world is a looking glass reflecting back the energy of soul. Feelings and emotions are gauges - if they are negative, much work is to be done.

Sandra introduces the eastern mystic tradition of energy flow - the "Chakra System" which defines the currents of energy coursing through the human body. You can achieve nearly anything in any area of life by aligning positive intention with the vibrations of the universe. Establishing and maintaining emotional and spiritual prosperity allows every other kind of prosperity to follow. "When you intend value - no matter what - your life is filled with choices and cognitions that reflect that. And your energy vibrates with courage and profound integrity, a truly brilliant magnetism."

We are all human and divine. Connecting with the source leads to fulfillment. Success is a choice. Choose to make the connection. Let go of need, detach from future expectations and instead live from the unlimited wealth of the source.

In Part II: Spirit Accelerated Success, Sharon points out the tools, advocates and guides each person has available to succeed and live a full and fulfilling life. Intuition is the means of sensing the still small voice whispering guidance to the sojourner. Spirits ranging from friends and relatives who have passed, to great achievers of history, to angels and archangels, to the very power of God are all readily available to the seeker.

The adventure is stacked in favor of those who listen to and employ spirit guides. Everyone is meant to succeed. Spirits are standing by to catch us when we stumble, redirect us when we stray, and propel us when we are ready to soar. Like we rely today on technological wizardry to communicate trifles, all we need do to blossom is: make the call - ask - then let go and enjoy the ride.

The task of the traveler is to connect with the divine. To accomplish this, redirect the weak forces in life and exploit the strong. Destroy negative habits. Maintain a higher inward focus and receive self-honoring commitments. External success is the manifestation of internal worth. God works through you and so needs you working. A more accurate measure of achievement is not what one gets, but rather what one gives.

The final section of Secrets of Success: Flip That Life, is a call to action. Life is motion - you will only get where you intend to go by deliberately steering that way. Erase the childhood drama and accept that all situations are passing opportunities to help you grow and evolve.

The circumstances of life are not what matters - only your responses do. Deconstruct the negativity that shackles you to mediocrity. Upgrade your mental and emotional makeup to bring success, prosperity and joy to your life, now and always.

Intention is the motive for action. Learn to value creating intention and build a life of possibility. Of all your choices keep intention in mind. For by making the right choices you move in the right direction. As Henry David Thoreau expressed, "If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams and endeavors to live the life he has imagined, he will meet with success unexpected in common hours."

Each thought is a new choice. As Sandra and Sharon implore: be present, be soulful, be knowing and be active; then you will create your unique, awe-inspiring destiny.
